"Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6

Childrens Ministry for years has been based on entertainment as a result, many parents feel that they are dropping their children off at a child care center while they go to a Big Church to be fed.  Just as a baby demands feeding, children today are demanding their spiritual feeding.

 

We have preached for years a message that all you have to do to be saved is say the sinners prayer and get baptized.  Children as well as adults need to understand that there must be a relationship with God that accompanies that prayer.  Romans 10:9  Confession with the mouth must be accompanied by a believing heart (relationship).  We are to assist the children in developing a lasting relationship with God through teaching, thru leading them into intimate worship and by providing them with ministry opportunities.

 

Some people say that children are the church of tomorrow, but I have to say that I feel they are the church of today.  I believe God can use a child just as much, if not more, than an adult because children have such great faith, and if the bible says it they believe it.

 

Ive been working in Kidz Ministry since I was 16 and so I've been doing it for 28 years now as of 2016. Kidz are my heart and I love having the opportunity to share with them about how God Loves them and has an AWESOME plan for their lives.  They are so amazing and God is raising up an army who isn't ashamed to preach the gospel, lay hands on the sick and raise the dead. I'm glad to be apart of this generation.
